Welcome to Ichizu! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ichizu mobile, desktop, and web applications (collectively, the "Service" or "App"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Ichizu is a personal organization tool that allows you to manage tasks, lists, notes, and interact with local/configured AI features. The core service operates locally on your device. We offer a premium subscription tier called Ichizu+ which enables cloud backup and synchronization of your tasks, lists, notes, AI chat history, and configurations across multiple platforms using your linked Firebase account.

2. User Accounts

To use the synchronization features, you must register for an account using Firebase Authentication. You are solely responsible for safeguarding the credentials of your account and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

3. Subscriptions & Billing (Ichizu+)

Our premium features are billed on a subscription basis. Subscriptions are processed through third-party platforms depending on the device you use:

• Android: Google Play Store Billing
• Windows/Web/Linux: Purchases are not available yet; an existing Ichizu+ account can be used.

By subscribing to Ichizu+, you agree to the pricing, billing cycles, and terms of service specified by the payment processor. Prices may vary depending on the platform or country due to transactional fees and administrative costs.

4. Use of Generative AI Services & Content Reporting

Ichizu provides an interface for interacting with artificial intelligence assistants (powered by OpenRouter or other API providers):

• API Configuration: To use AI features, you may configure your personal API key or proxy settings. You are responsible for any usage charges incurred with your configured AI provider.
• AI Output Disclaimer: Outputs produced by AI models are generated dynamically and autonomously. They may contain inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate information. Ichizu does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any AI-generated output.
• Content Reporting Mechanism: In compliance with store safety policies, Ichizu provides a built-in "Report an Issue" / "Report Content" feature (accessible via the flag icon on any AI response). Users are encouraged to report any inappropriate, offensive, or harmful AI outputs to our support team for review.
• Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the AI features to generate abusive, illegal, dangerous, violent, or sexually explicit content, or to violate any third-party rights.

5. Content Ownership and Privacy

You retain all rights to the data, tasks, notes, and messages you create within the App. When cloud synchronization is enabled, your data is stored securely using Firebase. For detailed information, please read our Privacy Policy.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you are in breach of these Terms or engaged in unauthorized or illegal activity.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ichizu and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or objectionable AI output, arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of these Terms or posting a notice within the App.
